Christmas, 2001

I have frames and photos all over my room, with ribbons and all kinds of renaissance, pirate, eccentric themes.  This frame set is from my mom and it's just awesome.  It hangs by a thick gold ribbon, and the frames are really nice and thick.  Garb photos will be going in these!	Survivor, Season One DVD featuring "Never Before Seen Footage!"  The tag cautions that there is adult language and nudity. Mmm hmm!!
The new Harry Potter calendar from Kris!  I have to figure out where in the office I can put it up, because I want my mom to be able to see it all the time too.	The Christmas Present that Made Me Cry is the title of this piece.  This is the handmade, Italian, in-laid music box that Kris got me.
Actually, this is when I got all misty, when I opened it, it started playing so pretty, I saw a little note and this gorgeous (silver) necklace.	For some reason I can't get a really good pic of the necklace, but it really is just beautiful.  The heart is a little smaller than a quarter and it has a rose twining up the edge of it (similar to the box!)  It's a very nice necklace that I am only saving for special occasions. :)

I also got a lot more "little" things for Christmas, like my cool house slippers and new Tigger button-down sweatshirt/housecoat, a container of almond-rocca candy (oh, the devil!) and a raincheck from my brother for two Hello Kitty dolls that are coming from Japan and have been held up, along with some other little stuff too.  I got a Westroads gift certificate + cash from my Aunt and Uncle, a $150 Art Hines Contracting Employee Christmas Bonus, a whole bunch of $5 certificates for gas at the QT from mom and dad (because I'm always forgetting about gas and having to *scrounge* $1.25 to hold me over...)   I also got a gift certificate from Kris' parents and a tin of cookies (>drool<) from Kris' grandma.
